Spoofed Call Prevention Measures for India Termination – Action Required

We have observed an increasing trend of spoofed international calls terminating in India. In response, the Department of Telecommunications (India) has instructed all International Long Distance Operators (ILDOs) to take strict action against customers and carriers involved in such traffic.
In line with this directive, SkyTel is conducting a thorough analysis of traffic profiles and will notify relevant customers if any spoofed or spam traffic is identified. Similar steps are being taken by other ILDOs, resulting in the suspension or blocking of many customers involved in India termination.
Consequently, blocked or fraudulent customers may attempt to reroute such traffic through alternative networks, including yours.
We strongly urge you to verify the origin of your traffic and ensure that only legitimate calls are routed for India termination.
Failure to comply may result in the suspension of your services.
